Pan American Charter Title I Schoolwide Program
Pan American Charter School receives Title I funding. Title I provides federal funding for schools to help students who are behind academically or at risk of falling behind. Title I funding is based on the number of low-income children in the school, generally those eligible for the free lunch program.
Being a Title I school means receiving federal funding to supplement the school’s existing programs. These dollars are used for:
Parent Involvement/Shared Responsibility
Parent Involvement is an important aspect of the Title I program. As a parent, you can influence your child’s success in school. We encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s education. The Parent Involvement Policy for Pan American Charter School was jointly developed with parental participation to meet the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and to meet the needs of the parents, students, and the school.
Pan American has developed a School Parent Compact. You can help by making sure your child attends school every day, making sure homework is complete, and attending parent teacher conferences.
